Running Skirt!!

Monday morning I was catching up on blogs and I headed over to Endurance Isn't Only Physical and I saw the winner was announced for the Running Skirt giveaway. I started to read it and she listed the comment from the winner and I was just like, "That sounds a lot like what I wrote!" Then I was just like, "Wait a minute... That is me!" Thank you, Tricia for hosting this giveaway! It has made my whole week!

I am so excited! I cannot wait to try out the skirt and can't wait to put it to the test at the marathon.. which is.. hold on to your hats, folks! 38 days away! Here's the one I picked!


Also, this Saturday, March 13th I have the Rex Lee 5k race. I like 5ks now :-) They aren't as scary as they used to be. I love the Rex Lee race at BYU. I had to do it before we leave Provo for good. It's to support cancer research and you all know how I feel about that :-)

Other than that- life has been good. The long runs have been getting longer and I am so ready to get to the marathon! I am still really nervous, but I know I can do it. I'd write more about my long runs... but nothing too interesting happens- and I am guessing that that is a good thing. Just things like waiting at LOOOONG stop lights, having Jon come and pick up some of my layers because I'm dying and creepers on the trails and sidewalks who mumble something as I run by. I am hoping for a 6-7miler tonight. I've had to do most of my weekly runs inside the last few months and I cannot tell you how excited I get for every Saturday because it means I can run outside- but that I have time to run outside in the daylight! I can't wait until warmer weather comes!
